PRAYER UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2017
In Romania August is traditionally a
time when people are on holiday and often it is very hot. But now as it moves
into September, the weather begins to cool …. The social workers will be back at
work after their well earned vacations.
ROMANIA PRAYER POINTERS:
MUSTARD SEED ROMANIA (MSR):
We give thanks for the
success of the first holiday camp on the Casa Mabel premises – this revealed
the areas which need development and change. Pray for wisdom for Alex &
Sergio and for provision of resources.
Pray for pensioner
sponsorship starting in new village.
AVS:
Pray for suitable help and support for Nelu,
For their need for vehicle
For the homework club starting again mid September, remembering
the teachers, the volunteer assistants and the 22 children.
AGAPE: Pray success as they seek to raise funds to purchase their
building, and for new young people joining their programme in the autumn.
JERSEY PRAYER POINTERS:
Pray for our preparations for the Christmas shoebox appeal,
especially for the provision of sufficient volunteer collectors.
Looking
ahead to December pray for the planned trips of Jersey supporters from St Pauls
Church and Beaulieu Convent School.
Pray
for our continuing need for a new trustee in the new year.
In James we read that the earnest
prayers of a righteous man (or woman) have great power and wonderful results.
Please be encouraged to continue to bless us with your prayers for Mustard Seed
in our outreaches in Romania and our organisation in Jersey as we want to see
