MUSTARD SEED JERSEY PRAYER UPDATE OCTOBER 2013
Aid Trip and Pointers for Prayer for Mustard Seed in Jersey:
Our aid trailer is due to go out to Romania with 12+ tonnes of aid on October 12th. Volunteer drivers JONATHAN MICHEL and RICHARD LANGFORD should arrive in St Malo on the evening of Sunday 13th to begin the 3000 mile round trip. We expect them to arrive in Romania on Tuesday evening (15th) / Wednesday morning (16th). They should be back in Jersey on Saturday 19th.
Please pray for their SAFETY and PROTECTION as they travel.
Give thanks for the generosity of Herve Godard from St Malo for his kindness in letting us use his tractor unit free of charge.
Please give thanks for BILL and SAM and others who load with them when available, pray God will bless and strengthen them.
Please pray MORE VOLUNTEERS will help with LOADING as this is too big a job for Bill and Sam without more help.
We have a TIGHT TIME-SCHEDULE for loading the December trailer, we seriously need your prayers that all will “dove-tail” into place, as it could easily prove to be an utter nightmare!
Give thanks that our shed has been successfully cleared of accumulated junk and unusable items but is now filled with packed aid waiting for loading on the December trailer.
As we approach Christmas shoebox appeal time. Please pray we will have sufficient VOLUNTEERS for COLLECTING and CHECKING and PACKING.
Another general need we have is for a VOLUNTEER to take on the weekly collection of aid from All Saints Church. Please pray for a suitable person to make themselves known to us.
In Jersey we have a number of volunteers who have health problems, we ask for your prayers for healing for Bernie, Barrie, Carolyn, Carol, David, and others who need God’s healing touch.

Mustard Seed Romania:
Pray for MARIA and ROVIN due to be married later this month. Both are orphans, Maria has been on our Mustard Seed programme for years and we are thrilled that she is marrying.
Pray for ESTERA (also an orphan) who has just left our sheltered accommodation to become independent – please pray she will allow God to heal those issues and memories from the past that have clearly been troubling her.
We give thanks for the life and faith of IULIANA one of the residents at Casa Mabel – “to be with Christ which is better by far” may she rest in peace and rise in glory.
Fundatia Increderea:
Nelu & Cristina have asked that we pray for Cristina’s nephew MATIAS approx 1 year old suffering from diabetes which is not responding well to treatment.
Give thanks for Kathy Langston who tells us that surgery has successfully removed the cancer, she is now learning to live with various limitations resulting from that surgery. Please continue to bless her with your prayers.
Simona:
Simona is a social worker assisting repatriated victims of people trafficking in the Bihor area of Romania. Please remember her in prayer as she often has to deal with traumatised victims and hear harrowing accounts of abuse.
Agape:
Pray for the work of Agape offering a life skills and education programme to young people brought up in state orphanages. It is hard for these young people to find employment – pray especially for NADIA to find suitable employment.
