Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer Update
April/May 2025
Dear Friends
On 29th April
two of Mustard Seed’s trustees go to Romania and Ukraine – Ron Treby (who attends St Pauls Church) and Davis Bisson (who
attends Tesson Chapel) are due to leave Jersey, returning on May 8th.
We do ask and hope you will kept them in your prayers
for safe travel, protection, wisdom and that they will be channels of God’s
peace and encouragement to those they meet. While they are there
they will be monitoring the various projects and commitments Mustard Seed has
in each country as well as looking for other ways in which we may possibly be
able to help.
Please
remember ALEX and his wife RODY who will be hosting David and Ron. Alex will
travel with them to Ukraine to act as guide and translator. While there they will meet up with TUDOR from Ukraine who came with
Alex to Jersey last year. Please continue to pray for TUDOR (to
avoid confusion sometimes his name is spelt Toader) as he continues to use the
trailer funded from Jersey last spring to take supplies to the war torn area of Ukraine.
At the time
of the last prayer update, we were raising funds for a refrigerated trailer for
the outreach work of our good friend Nelu in
Romania. God really blessed this appeal so we were able to purchase a larger
refrigerated trailer and still retain sufficient funds for the maintenance
costs etc for the next few years. Please continue to pray for NELU and CRISTINA
as they use this trailer to distribute donated fresh food to the poorest and
most vulnerable in the Oradea area of Romania. They are thrilled with the new
trailer and the opportunities it opens up.
Here in Jersey we will soon be ready to ship our first humanitarian
aid consignment of the year, which will be to Ukraine God willing. Please pray
all goes smoothly with paperwork requirements and the logistics of getting the
goods to Ukraine.
Please
continue to bless us with your prayers, but this time most of all we ask for
your prayer for David and Ron as they travel to Romania and Ukraine
