Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer Update March 2013

March 7th  2013

Mustard Seed Romania

We give thanks for how God moved people in Jersey to give to assist various projects mentioned by Alex when he and Rody were in Jersey.

Pray for the team of building volunteers from United States, headed up by STEVE who are in Romania at the moment working on various projects, some of which were made possible by the generosity of Jersey people. Then early in April a 2nd team headed by TOM goes to Romania to continue the projects. Pray for safety and success for all involved.

Please continue to pray for the work of Casa Mabel our residential home for elderly ladies in Cefa, pray that there will be peace and calm after the unavoidable disruption last month that resulted in staff changes. Pray for residents and all carers – especially please remember

·         DINA – one of the carers

·         SANDA – another carer

·         FLORICA – the nurse

·         Continue to pray for ALEX and RODY as they continue with the overall responsibility for the various projects of Mustard Seed Romania.

·         We have heard that VICTOR plans to leave Casa Mabel in June to continue his studies, pray God’s blessing on him and God’s guidance for Alex and Rody to select a suitable site supervisor to take over from him.

Also in ROMANIA:

v  Give thanks that KATHY LANGSTON has now had her surgery and it appears that all is going well, so please continue to hold her in prayer.

v  Remember the work of NELU and CRISTINA of FI in prayer. Pray a special blessing on their youth club.

IN JERSEY:

§  In February we asked for your prayers for more volunteers to come forward to help sort and pack aid – we give thanks that several new people are now helping. Please pray God’s blessing on them and that they will not get discouraged.

§  Our aid trailer should be fully loaded before the end of March, at this point in time we need to find the right driver/s for an aid trip to Romania in April.

§  At times we are asked to collect (usually) small amounts of aid from people who are house-bound or immobile. Pray we will have collection volunteers in the various areas of the island who will be willing to take on this task.

Please continue to bless us with your prayers.

In His service

Rose
