Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer Update May 2013

LORRY OF AID GOING OUT THIS MONTH
Thanks be to God we finally have 2 drivers for this aid consignment! TED EGRE and MIKE ETIENNE are due to leave Jersey on the evening of Sunday May 19th and should arrive in Romania in time to unload on Wednesday 22nd and to be back at St Malo for the boat to Jersey on Saturday 25th. Please pray for them for SAFETY and all the necessary SKILL they need to deal with any problems as they drive our 12 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Oradea, Romania and to return.
TRIP FOR SUPPORTERS ALSO THIS MONTH
I (ROSE) am going out to Romania accompanied by JANET and JENNIFER from May 23rd till June 3rd. For us also please pray for SAFETY as we travel and for our time in Romania.
LAST MONTHS TRIP
In the last prayer update, I asked for prayer for wisdom and guidance for Michala and myself as we travelled to Romania for what we knew would be a difficult trip involving tough decisions. It was a difficult trip but we both felt the right decisions were made.
Encouragements of that trip were to see the incredible building progress that has taken place since Christmas for the new house for vulnerable young women in Cefa and on the community hall in Pagaia.
Prayer Requests from Romania
BENY Alex has asked that we pray for Beny a young man from the village of Pagaia who is due to have complicated vascular surgery in Vienna this week. [By a series of co-incidences (arranged by the Almighty we believe) it is possible for him to have this surgery in Vienna]
TITEL - Florina from Vineyard Oradea asked that we pray for this man who has some form of cancer.
GYONGHY or Doris we believe she is now working in Italy, pray for her safety, that all will go well with her and that we will soon have news of her. [Gyonghy was brought up in a state orphanage and was on our programmes for years, but is now fending for herself; she came to Jersey 6 or 7 years ago on holiday we arranged.]
KATHY LANGSTON continues to recover from surgeries thank God for the progress and pray for her strength and stamina to increase.
KEN & FLORENCE HOLMES from Vineyard Oradea are back from their extended leave in UK and USA and now driving back to Romania, due there on May 10th. [Jennifer Janet and I stay with them for the first 5 days of our trip]
NELU & CRISTINA and daughter DALIA Nelu and Cristina head up the work of FI and work with the poorest of the poor as well as providing education and support for those affected by addiction.
IN JERSEY (or France):
MICHEL in France has always been incredibly supportive and helpful towards Mustard Seed with our aid consignments. He is unwell please pray for his healing.
CAROL one of our Christmas shoebox volunteers begins a course of chemotherapy please remember her in prayer.
GEORGE who has been a longstanding volunteer and tower of strength when it came to trailer repairs has now left Jersey. As he settles to a new life in France, please pray all goes well.
VOLUNTEERS please pray we will have sufficient volunteers to undertake a big task of emptying out a very congested storage shed.
