Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer update September 2012
GIVE THANKS for a safe and successful aid consignment delivery at the end of July - the Building materials were much appreciated. Please pray for a special blessing on our volunteer drivers Graeme and George who stepped in at the last minute to take this aid consignment when the planned drivers were unable to go.
PRAY FOR OUR NEXT AID CONSIGNMENT due out at the end of October. Remember those who load as they spend hours cramming full every available space. Pray too for driver availability as this is not confirmed yet. Give thanks for the amount of things given to send and for the funds to send this load.
CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX APPEAL - as we start to distribute publicity for this please pray for a successful appeal.
BREAD APPEAL - give thanks for the money raised so far which would provide bread for the poorest of the poor on our programme in Oradea for 2 months. Our target is to be able to provide bread for the 4 or ideally 5 coldest months.
IN ROMANIA
KATHY LANGSTON - pray for Kathy for healing. Pray for the great work she is involved in providing play and love and care for some very needy and often neglected handicapped children. Pray too for her adopted daughters Codi and Andrea.
RODY STROIE and family (Rody is Alex's wife and heads up Casa Mabel team). Pray comfort for Rody and her family especially her mother as her father died in July.
ESTERA - a seven year old girl with exceptional musical ability please pray the right resources become available to develop her God given talent.
SILVIA - a widowed gypsy lady with poor health mourning the loss of her mother. She is on our Adopt a Granny programme.
