Mustard Seed Jersey prayer update October 2012

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX APPEAL – our closing date is November 7th, please pray we will have enough boxes of the various age groups to meet all the requests we have had – especially for sufficient boxes for young men, elderly male pensioners and teenagers
BREAD APPEAL - give thanks for the money raised so far which should provide bread for the poorest of the poor on our programme in Oradea for approximately 3 months. Our target is is to be able to provide bread for the 4 or ideally 5 coldest months. We plan to send the money across late in November
Please pray for SAM in Jersey one of our volunteers who is unwell.
Please pray God will provide the volunteers we need.
IN ROMANIA
KATHY LANGSTON – please continue to pray for Kathy’s healing. The news is promising but she is still under frequent medical monitoring.
GIVE THANKS - ESTERA - a seven year old girl with exceptional musical ability – since the last prayer update we have a sponsor now to pay for music lessons for her.
ADOPT A GRANNY pensioner sponsorship programme – due to the recession in the last month several of our sponsors have had to stop sponsoring their pensioners. Please pray for those pensioners, and pray that God will provide what they need, either through another sponsor or in another way.
VICTOR – he is Alex’s assistant, also assistant pastor at Cefa and Berechiu and site supervisor at Casa Mabel – he works very hard. Please pray God blesses him
DAN – is a volunteer helper in Romania who had a serious accident last year and is currently receiving a medical pension. He has always been incredibly generous with his time for Mustard Seed Romania projects. Please pray for him and his family, especially as they are having to cope with a big reduction in income.
