As from September 1st Mustard Seed Jersey will no longer accept any general relief aid. This is to enable the volunteers to concentrate on processing the accumulated aid and then to focus on the Christmas shoeboxes - details available on those in September.

Up until the end of October we will accept hand knitted items (just hand knitted blankets also hats and scarves that our supporters knit for the Christmas shoeboxes).

We anticipate accepting general aid again in January 2021 but that decision may be reviewed in light of the present uncertainty with Covid 19 and the implications of the Brexit deal arrangements after December 31st.

Any remaining relief aid that the generous public want to donate should be delivered up the stairs to the packing loft at Cardiff House, La Ruette du Coin Varin, St. Peter JE3 7EJ before the end of August.

We do very much thank the public for their support. And now we trust they will understand and support us in our decision to accept no general humanitarian aid from September to December. We hope too they will support our Christmas shoebox appeal to be launched next month.

Issued August 14th 2020.
