Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer Update

GIVE THANKS FOR ANSWERED PRAYER I have just had a beautiful email with
photos from Nelu of AVS in which he rejoices that a
generous donation from Jersey made possible the purchase of a portacabin. This
has prevented a very needy elderly woman from becoming homeless as she faced
eviction from the leaking property that had been her home for years.
Nelu wrote:
We gave the new container [portacabin] to Mrs
K, She was so happy when she entered in her new home.
It was a rainy day and in her old house there was a lot of black plastic bags
because of the rainings on her bed and a grey plastic
bowl to catch the raindrops.
When we arrive she
couldn't believe that in her home it will not be raining anymore, that she had
an excellent bed and furniture. She started to cry …….
THANK GOD FOR PEOPLE’S COMPASSION AND GENEROSITY and
pray God’s blessing on those who give.
We are at present trying to arrange for a young
orphaned woman IOLANDA (assisted in Romanian by Agape / Romanian Orphan
Ministry) to come to Jersey at end of April for major dental work, which has
been offered free of charge. Please pray that Agape will be able to work out
the somewhat complicated logistics re travel so this can happen and please pray
God’s blessing on the generous Jersey dentist.
In JERSEY we have now enough packed relief for our
next shipment which is scheduled for later this month. Please uphold the
various volunteers in your prayers – packers, collectors, loaders / palletisers
and those who donate and raise funds for transportation, etc.
Apologies this prayer update is later being
published than planned – due to a computer breakdown followed by the
uncertainty with Iolanda – I had hoped to give you firm
dates for your prayers, but at this point in time the travel arrangements are
not yet confirmed …….
