Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer Update for May 2023

Dear Praying Friends
Thank you for your prayers – please
continue to bless Mustard Seed with your prayers. In a couple of weeks we plan to send our 1st aid consignment of
2023 to Ukraine – please pray the paperwork requirements are all met and that
the aid will be a real blessing to those who receive it in the Chernivtsi area.
(This is in south west Ukraine near the border in north east Romania). Please pray
for SORIN who will handle the paperwork requirements and has arranged a hauler
for us.
In the last months we have been amazed at
how much money we have received to send on to Ukraine. We were able to assist
80 families to have some light from solar panel units. Our target had been 50
but amazingly we received sufficient donations to be able to assist 80! Also we have been able each month to send over money to
purchase food parcels which is much needed. We very much thank God for how we
have been empowered to reach and help many more than we anticipated. Please
pray the generosity continues as long as the need is
there.
Please continue to pray for UKRAINE, that
the war and violence will cease.
Please continue to pray for ROMANIA,
especially the beneficiaries who would normally receive the clothing, etc from
our aid consignment. We have been unable to resolve the Romanian requirements
for sending textiles as humanitarian aid. We continue to assist them with
funding as we are able.
Psalm 103 says “Praise the Lord my soul and
forget not all his benefits” reminding us of forgiveness, healing, love,
compassion, redemption, satisfaction and “renewing your youth like an
eagle’s”. If you haven’t already researched the meaning behind the expression
in Psalm 103 v 5 of renewing the eagle’s youth, can I encourage you to use
google or another search engine as learning about it has made that verse really
come alive to me.
