Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer Update January
2018
Let
us begin with thanksgiving:
·
We
thank God that after delays the aid consignment including Christmas shoeboxes
did finally arrive in Romania where they brought great joy.
·
We
thank God for the blessing that the team from St Pauls Church were to those
they met.
·
We
join with Agape to give thanks that the final funding has come through to
enable them to complete the purchase of their building on the outskirts of
Oradea, Romania.
·
We
thank God that Helen Gunton has now been appointed as
trustee of Mustard Seed Jersey and ask God’s blessing on her.
·
We
give thanks for some recent new volunteers for Mustard Seed Jersey.
Alongside
of thanksgiving we bring our petitions and requests:
§ We
pray blessing for the staff & students from Beaulieu whose trip to Romania in
December was aborted due to weather conditions.
§ We pray for the many needs that
challenged the group from St Pauls, especially families struggling without
funds for firewood in temperatures below freezing, people unable to afford
medication, light, basic repairs, etc. We pray for the Romanian social workers
for wisdom sharing limited resources
§ We
pray for a young woman who had previously been an Agape client who was self
supporting until recently when she had an accident. After a spell in hospital
she is now back living at the Agape house as she had no where else to go –
clearly as she was unable to pay her rent it resulted in her losing her
accommodation. Pray for her to receive the justice she is entitled to.
§ Pray God’s blessing on the Mustard Seed
Jersey trustees and volunteers, pray for healing for some and their families –
remember Peter & Glen in prayer.
§ For
the Vineyard kindergarten in Cihei Romania, we pray
for blessing on teacher Alina as she begins her maternity leave and for wisdom &
guidance for Vasile and Florina
as they find a replacement teacher.
§ We pray for wisdom and guidance for the
ADPB residential home in Bihor county, Romania and for provision of needed
resources.
§ In
Jersey we now start to prepare for our planned aid consignment in March. In
particular we lay before the Lord the long list of requests we received and we
ask that He will supply what is needed.
Please
do continue to pray for Mustard Seed Jersey and all the trusts we work with in
Romania. We really do believe PRAYER CHANGES THINGS.
